Memorial Day Parade

Join the community in honoring and celebrating those who have served for the Brighton Memorial Day Parade. The parade will start at 10 am at Brighton High School and move east on Main Street making its way towards Mill Pond. Due to the Main Street Streetscape Project, the parade route has been changed. The parade starts at Brighton High School, continues on S. Seventh Street, to Main Street, to N. First Street, and then over the Tridge to the Veterans Memorial. After the parade, there will be a ceremony given by different speakers at AMP to honor the veterans who have served us. Come out and help the Brighton community remember and celebrate these veterans. Brighton Farmers’ Market

Every Saturday (rain or shine) from May through October ~ 8am -to- 1pm

The market features foods sold directly by farmers to consumers. Plant nurseries and food vendors are also featured. The market has an artisan focus and features arts and crafts from local talent. The Market is located in the City’s Municipal Parking Lot located at 200 N. First Street .

Yellowstone Country Music Festival

The Brighton Chamber of Commerce Country music festival based on the “Yellowstone” TV show. The festival will have country music, food trucks, horses, and fun activities like a "Yellowstone" look-a-like costume contest. If you don’t want to participate in the look-a-like contest just come wearing your cowboy boots, western wear, and cowboy hats. This event takes place at Mt. Brighton (4141 Bauer Road, Brighton, MI 48116).

Smokin’ Jazz & BBQ Blues Festival

The Smokin' Jazz & Barbecue Blues Festival will take place in a different location this year due to the Streetscape Downtown Brighton Project. This year the festival will be held at Mt. Brighton (4141 Bauer Road, Brighton, MI 48116). Vendors will have delicious smoked and grilled foods like ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket, pork tenderloin, mac and cheese, and more. A beer tent with local brew and live jazz and blues music will fill the festival area with glorious melodies. A free children’s area will be provided where the Boy Scouts of America will engage the children in interactive games. There will also be a 65 foot blow up obstacle course, cornhole tournament, and bingo tent.

Holiday Glow & Christmas Market

The Holiday Glow & Christmas Market has something for everyone! A Kids area, carriage rides, hot cocoa, reindeer sightings, and local performances provide plenty of excitement while guests wait for Santa. Santa and Mrs. Claus make their way down Main Street to join the Mayor of the City of Brighton. The Mayor gives Santa the key to the city so Santa "can get into all the homes on Christmas Eve!" Santa will then magically light up the Mill Pond.
